Terms & Conditions for S&J Driving School

Welcome to S&J Driving School!
By booking a driving lesson or using our services, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Payments
– All driving lessons must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or directly with your instructor.
– Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
– We accept: Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
2. Lesson Cancellation & Rescheduling
– We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty.
– No-shows or same-day cancellations will result in a full charge for the missed lesson.
– Multiple no-shows or late cancellations may result in a non-refundable 50% deposit required for future bookings.
– We understand life happens – but getting called into work is not an emergency.
3. Student Requirements
To participate in lessons, students must:
– Hold a valid learner’s permit or driver’s license (present at every lesson)
– Wear proper footwear (no flip-flops or heels)
– Be physically and mentally fit to drive
– Follow instructor directions at all times
4. Vehicles & Safety
– Our vehicles are equipped with a passenger-side brake for your safety.
– Your instructor is trained and qualified to handle emergency situations.
– Unsafe or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate termination of the lesson without refund.
5. Liability
– S&J Driving School and its instructors are not responsible for any fines, legal actions, or damages caused by the student’s behavior while driving outside of lessons.
– While we strive to prepare you thoroughly, we do not guarantee passing the DMV driving test.
6. Privacy & Personal Information
– We respect your privacy. Information shared with us is used only for scheduling, communication, and internal records.
– We never sell or share your personal information without your permission.
7. Media Consent (Optional)
– With your consent, we may use photos or videos from lessons for promotional or testimonial purposes.
– You may opt out at any time in writing.
8. Modifications to Terms
S&J Driving School may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.
